Last year our Assistant Chief Executive Dr Tracey King was invited to present at the Fisheries Society of the British Isles conference where she talked about wild caught ornamental fish and the benefits of the trade.

It’s not often that industry is invited to present at these kinds of events so we were very pleased to have the chance to explain the good work industry is doing.

Tracey was also invited to submit a follow-up article which was accepted for inclusion in a special symposium edition of the Journal of Fish Biology, a leading international, peer-review journal for scientists engaged in all aspects of fish biology.

We’re very pleased to say that the article is now available for free access so you can find it here.

The FSBI (Fisheries Society of the British Isles) is an international, non-political, learned society, based in the United Kingdom, that supports scientific activity in fish biology and management through charitable sponsorship.
