We’d urge people within the aquatics industry to urgently take part in a consultation on the new T-level qualification which is happening now (it ends on Monday July 13).
We’re concerned that these new qualifications are cutting back on specific teaching about ornamental fish which is incredibly important for people who want to work in our industry.
Students who take courses at places like Sparsholt often get jobs within our industry and we would certainly hate to see this important part of the course disappear into the more generic teaching planned with this new qualification.
