Whether you are looking to simply gain a deeper understanding of fishkeeping and enhance your knowledge or want something for your CV to show your passion for fishkeeping, our home-study training packages are widely respected and convenient to use.
While our Foundation and Advanced Training Programmes are primarily aimed at those who work in the industry they will still be of interest to fishkeepers – and are now City and Guilds accredited.
Both programes consist of four modules – water quality, filtration, fish biology and fish health – but in much more depth in the Advanced course. You can buy the full 4 module programme which, if you complete it satisfactorily, will get the City and Guilds Certificate for your CV. Otherwise you can buy modules individually which will lead to an OATA Certificate of Attendance.
Both programmes are home study, using our eLearning platform, which means you can dip into the course using a computer, tablet or smart phone whenever you have the time to study.
